An Open Letter to the SPARC Collective Membership from the Executive Director
Dear Friends and SPARC Members,
I wanted to personally thank everyone for participating in the annual vote for the future direction of our collective, San Francisco Patient and Resource Center (SPARC).
More than that, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the thousands of members who have signed up to support SPARC as activists on behalf of the work we are doing. With the uncertainty surrounding medical cannabis at the moment, we may need your help.
Our name expresses who we are….a place dedicated to giving medical cannabis patients the services and the resources they need to get well. This of course means healing tools beyond medical cannabis…and educating people that cannabis is not a panacea.
We opened SPARC one year ago with the express goal of becoming a national model for dispensaries as health and resource centers. We still have much work to do.
